  • Why is Cubavisa.net so cheap?

    Cubavisa.net is part of Cuba Incentives, a Destination Management Company for Cuba. For this reason, we are allowed to buy blank visa at the Cuban Consulate. Most other providers have to go to the Cuban Consulate to arrange the visa for you, which adds a lot of additional costs. We have low margins so that you benefit from cheap visas. We strongly believe that we can attract more customers with low prices.

  • Is it possible to order large quantities?

    Yes, if you want to order large quantities (e.g. 50 or 100) please contact us by mail.

  • Can I return the visa?

    You can return a blank visa to us if you don’t need it anymore. Please send us an email stating you want to return your visa. We will send you the right information on how to proceed. We will refund the money you paid for your order, minus the cost of shipping we had to make.

    It is not possible to return visa if you already completed it or we completed it for you.

  • Who needs a visa?

    Everyone needs a visa to enter Cuba, even kids and babies.

  • What kind of visas are there?

    There are tourist and business visas. There are two kinds of tourist visa: the green and the pink one. The green visa can be used to travel to Cuba from every country, except the United States. If you travel to Cuba from the US, you need the pink visa.

  • Which visa do you sell?

    We sell the green and the pink tourist visa. If you need a business visa you can contact the Cuban Consulate.

  • What information do I need to fill in on the visa?

    On the visa you have to write your first name, last name, date of birth, passport number and your nationality. You will receive the visa with an example of a completed visa. You can write your personal information by hand with a black or a blue pen.

  • Is the visa stamped?

    The backside of the visa needs a stamp/logo from the issuing entity. The visa you receive have the logo of ‘Cuba Incentives’ printed on the backside. This acts as the stamp of the issuing entity.

  • How long is the visa valid?

    There is no expiration date on the visa. Once you enter Cuba the visa becomes valid for 30 days. You can be extended the visa in Cuba for a further 30 days.

  • What if I made a mistake on the visa?

    It is not allowed to make any corrections on the visa. If you made a mistake while writing the information on the visa, you will have to buy a new one. If you don’t want to take the risk of making a mistake you can order a complete visa.

  • What countries do you ship to?

  • How long will it take before my visa arrives?

    The Netherlands: Orders placed on business days and before 11.30h are shipped immediately after receiving the payment. Delivery will take place in the evening between 18.00 and 21.00h. Once we ship your order, it will be delivered the next business day.

    Belgium: Orders placed on business are shipped immediately after receiving the payment. Your order will be shipped with DPD and will be delivered within 2 to 3 business days.

    Other countries: Your order will be shipped with DPD and (depending on the country) will be delivered within 2 to 7 business days.

    Once we shipped your order you will receive an email with a Track & Trace number to follow your order online.

  • What if my order does not arrive?

    If a shipment does not arrive/got lost we will start an investigation. If chosen for an insured shipment, we will send out a new shipment. If not chosen for an insured shipment, we always wait to see what happened with the shipment before we send another one.

    Cubavisa.net can not be held liable in any way for delaying your vacation or extra costs you have to make if the visa doesn’t arrive on time.

  • Ik ga als toerist vanuit de Verenigde Staten naar Cuba, mag dat?

    Het is nog steeds niet toegestaan om als toerist naar Cuba te gaan vanuit de VS. Je dient te reizen onder een van de 12 geaccepteerde redenen voor reizen naar Cuba. Je kan zonder problemen vanuit de VS naar Cuba reizen. Echter als je vanuit Cuba terug naar de VS gaat, dan bestaat de kans dat ze vragen naar je reis. Je zal dan moeten uitleggen dat je reis voldeed aan de opgegeven reden.

  • Ik heb niet de Amerikaanse nationaliteit, gelden deze regels ook voor mij?

    Zodra je vanuit de VS naar Cuba gaat, zijn alle Amerikaanse regels met betrekking tot reizen naar Cuba van toepassing. Je nationaliteit maakt niet uit.

  • Welk visum heb ik nodig?

    Reis je vanuit de VS naar Cuba, dan heb je het roze visum nodig. Reis je vanuit een ander land naar Cuba, dan voldoet het reguliere groene visum.

    Reis je bijvoorbeeld vanuit Nederland naar Cuba en je gaat daarna door naar de VS, dan heb je het groene visum nodig. Let wel op dat je dan nog steeds vragen kan krijgen zodra je in de VS aankomt.

    Reis je vanuit de VS naar Cuba en je gaat daarna niet terug naar de VS, dan heb je het roze visum nodig. Je dient dan alsnog een van 12 geaccepteerde redenen voor je reis op te geven, echter kom je niet terug in de VS en zal je ook niets hoeven aan te tonen.

  • Ik heb het roze visum ontvangen zonder stempel, klopt dat?

    In tegenstelling tot het groene visum welke een stempel dient te hebben, ontvang je het roze visum zonder stempel. Het roze visum moet namelijk gestempeld worden in de VS. Dit gebeurt zodra je het visum moet laten zien.
