Visitors to Cuba must obtain a visa (tourist card) before travel unless they fall under one of the exceptions. Citizens of all other countries must buy a visa with which you can stay in Cuba for a period of 30 days. The visa can be extended once for another 30 days. If you stay longer than 30 days you will have to extend the visa. Extending your visa must be done in Cuba and cannot be extended beforehand.
Citizens of the following countries can visit Cuba without a visa:
Bosnia and Herzegovina
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
Antigua and Barbuda
Saint Kitts and Nevis
Ineligible to obtain a tourist card
Citizens of the following countries cannot use the visa (tourist card) that we sell. They will have to arrange the visa themselves at the Embassy of Cuba. However, they are eligible to travel to Cuba with a tourist card if they are also in possession of a valid visa or permanent residence permit issued by Canada, the United States or an EU Member State.
